There are currently ten Arcana cards to unlock in-game, and in this guide, we’ll show you how to get them.
How to Unlock All Arcana in Vampire Survivors
To unlock Arcanas in Vampire Survivors, you’re going to need to retrieve a particular relic from the fourth stage, Gallo Tower.
Gallo Tower is unlocked upon reaching Level 60 of a Dairy Plant run, and that is unlocked by surviving until Level 40 of any other stage. This relic is called the Randomazzo, and it enables both the unlocking and activation of Arcanas. It appears as a playing card with a spade, that floats around with a slight purple aura.
To find this relic, load into Gallo Tower and you should see a green arrow at the top of your screen. Follow this green arrow all the way up into a room with a long red carpet up the center. Near the top of this carpet, you can find the Randomazzo floating around for you to grab. Simply walk into it, and a pop-up will appear for you to choose to get the Randomazzo.
Once you’ve attained the Randomazzo, Arcanas will become available for you to unlock. Each of the ten Arcanas has a unique requirement, as well as a unique effect, and they are all detailed below:
IV - Awake
Unlock Requirement: Survive until Level 99 with Krochi.
Effect: Awake grants +3 Revivals. Each Revival gives +10% Max Health, +5% Area, Duration, and Speed, and +1 Armor.
V - Chaos in the Dark Night
Unlock Requirement: Survive until Level 99 with Giovanna.
Effect: Chaos in the Dark Night makes peed change constantly between -50% and +200% in ten second intervals.
VI - Sarabande of Healing
Unlock Requirement: Get the Randomazzo.
Effect: Sarabande of Healing makes healing deal damage of the same amount to nearby enemies, and doubles healing.
VII - Iron Blue Will
Unlock Requirement: Survive until Level 99 with Gennaro.
Effect: Iron Blue Will makes all of the following projectiles get up to three bounces and the possibility of passing through walls or enemies: Axe, Knife, Phiera Der Tuphello, Carréllo, and their respective evolutions.
XI - Waltz of Pearls
Unlock Requirement: Survive until Level 99 with Imelda.
Effect: Waltz of Pearls makes the following projectiles get up to three bounces: Carréllo, Cross, Fire Wand, Magic Wand, and their respective evolutions.
XIV - Disco of Gold
Unlock Requirement: Survive until minute 31 in the Inlaid Library.
Effect: Disco of Gold makes it so picking up gold earns you an equal amount of healing, while picking up Coin Bags triggers Gold Fever.
XVI - Slash
Unlock Requirement: Survive until Level 99 with Lama.
Effect: Slash enables critical hits for the following weapons, and doubles critical damage: Axe, Heaven Sword, Knife, Whip, and their respective evolutions.
XVII - Lost & Found Painting
Unlock Requirement: Survive until Level 99 with Poppea.
Effect: Lost & Found Painting makes it so the duration for weapons changes constantly between -50% and +200% in ten second intervals.
XVIII - Boogaloo of Illusions
Unlock Requirement: Survive until Level 99 with Concetta.
Effect: Boogaloo of Illusions makes it so the area changes constantly between -25% and +50% in ten second intervals.
XIX - Heart of Fire
Unlock Requirement: Survive until Level 99 with Arca.
Effect: Heart of Fire makes it so the Fire Wand projectile explodes on impact, as do light sources and characters when damaged.
The only one you’ll unlock immediately upon getting the Randomazzo is VI - Sarabande of Healing. The others will take some more effort. Once unlocked, you’ll be given the option to toggle one at the start of runs. You can have a total of three active, however the second and third must be obtained from chests during your run.
Arcana chests dropped at the 11 and 21-minute marks will each have four random Arcanas for you to choose from (or less if you have not yet unlocked four), dropped by the bosses you defeat at those times. These bosses appear only if Arcanas have been unlocked.
While only ten Arcanas exist in the game now, placeholders for 12 more Arcanas can be found in the Vampire Survivors games files, meaning we will likely see many more come to future updates.
